I became a teacher because I truly felt like it was a calling that had been placed on my life. I wanted to be able to make a difference in the lives of children. I felt like there were children out there who needed someone to believe in and love them, and that was a void I wanted to fill!
My favorite thing about being a teacher is being able to connect with kids on a personal level and getting to witness those light bulb moments!
When I’m not at school, you’ll find me chauffeuring my children to their extracurricular activities or working in my church.
If I could have a superpower, it would be to be able to read minds so that I could truly know what’s really going on with my students and what they need, so I could better help them.
