Why I Teach
I teach because I remember what it felt like to be a student who didn’t always connect with school. I wasn’t bad at learning, but I often struggled to stay engaged or to see why it mattered. That experience shaped how I teach today. I want my classroom to be a place where every student feels they belong and where learning is active, fun, and meaningful. What keeps me passionate is watching students find joy in learning and take pride in their own growth.
I became an educator because I believe every student deserves a teacher who helps them feel seen and capable. I wasn’t always confident in school, but that experience taught me how important it is to meet students where they are and to celebrate progress, not perfection. What continues to drive my passion is the challenge of making learning meaningful and enjoyable, helping students discover curiosity, confidence, and a genuine love for learning.
