Honestly, I became a teacher because I wanted to make an impact on my community. I fell in love with teaching as a Teach For America corps member while I was at my training in Mississippi and found out this was my passion.
My favorite thing about being a teacher is seeing that “aha!” moment for a student…when the material just “clicks” for them after all of their hard work.
My favorite thing to do when I am not teaching is spending time with my family and friends. I love a good bonfire!
If I could have a superpower, I would choose to fly. I love to travel and being able to fly on my own would make everything so much easier!
