How long have you been teaching? This is my 6th year.
Why did you become a teacher? I love learning and I love supporting students in their journey.
What has been the best part of teaching that you didn’t expect when entering the profession? The connections you build with your colleagues.
What is one thing you wish non-teachers knew about what you do? One of the best things is seeing your students in they years after you had them and keeping those relationships going as you watch them grow-up.
What do you consider your greatest accomplishment as a teacher? I think the enduring relationships I build with students is my biggest accomplishment.
What is your favorite thing to do when you aren’t teaching? Read or go on hikes with my dogs.
