The Teacher Recruitment Loan Program offers a forgivable student loan to Kentucky students pursuing initial teacher certification. Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant

The TEACH Grant Program provides grants of up to $4,000 a year to students who are completing or plan to complete course work needed to begin a career in teaching.

Traineeship Program

Funds are available to help defray part of the tuition costs at any state institution offering IECE certification. Traineeships are available for teachers and administrators pursuing an initial IECE certificate while working with children with disabilities in the state-funded preschool or Head Start program.
