I wanted to teach so I could help guide, inspire, and empower the next generation. As a teaching and learning instructor, I invite previous graduates to come back and visit our classroom to offer words of advice and encouragement to future teachers. I invite community partners, such as our local college, to speak to students. Each student is valued and owns a part in our classroom. They have a voice in their classroom expectations and how our classroom functions. As a teacher, I am proud to be involved in shaping young minds and building a brighter future, one student at a time.
