I became a teacher because I feel this is what I am called to do: help kids grow and succeed. I believe in the power of education to change lives, and I want to make learning meaningful and engaging for all students. I want them to understand where our country came from, to appreciate the sacrifices made for our freedoms, and to feel pride in being both an American and a Kentuckian. My goal is to create a sense of belonging for my students and to help them see that what they learn matters beyond the classroom.
