I teach because it is my passion to be a part of a child`s big moment and to help every child succeed in life. I teach because every child deserves a cheerleader in their corner that believes in them no matter what. It is my mission to help every student learn in their own way with a feeling of purpose and belonging.

My fourth-grade teacher Mrs. Gerard, who believed in me at all times, saw me for who I was and is still cheering me on as an educator today. I wanted to be a teacher because I felt every student needs a Mrs. Gerard in their life. Today, that passion is driven by the possibility of being that encourager and supporter for the students in my own classroom!
