Why did you become a teacher? I saw the impact my parents had as teachers in our community, and I saw public school as my mission field.
What has been the best part of teaching that you didn’t expect when entering the profession? The lasting relationships with certain students, and the lifelong friendships and second family I have in my coworkers.
What is one thing you wish non-teachers knew about what you do? The number of decisions made in one day and the mental energy it takes.
What do you consider your greatest accomplishment as a teacher? Working with my former students as colleagues
What is your favorite thing to do when you aren’t teaching? Baking
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? Budapest
