The 50/50 Committee is a group consisting of an equal number of teachers and administrators, who develop personnel evaluation procedures and forms for a local school district Certified Evaluation Plan (CEP). Once the committee has reached consensus, they make a recommendation to their local board of education for approval.

While an equal number of teachers and administrators are required, local district policies determine committee size, procedures for committee member selection, as well as meeting frequency.
