To ensure the evaluation plan complies with KRS 156.557 and 704 KAR 3:370, any revised Certified Evaluation Plan (CEP) should be reviewed and approved by the local board of education (BOE) when substantive changes are made—such as the addition or removal of a source of evidence or any modification to decision rules or calculations used in the summative rating process.

If the local board of education determines the changes do not meet the requirements of KRS 156.557, the certified evaluation plan should be returned to the 50/50 Committee for additional revisions and resubmission.
