STEP 2: Create an account on the Kentucky Educator Certification System to manage your certification documents.

STEP 3: Join your school’s Educators Rising Collegiate chapter. Educators Rising Collegiate supports, develops, and empowers pre-service teachers with the resources, networks, and opportunities to excel as educators and leaders, both as students and throughout their career.

STEP 4: Check out the Kentucky Academy for Excellence in Teaching for support in preparing for the Praxis examinations.

STEP 5: Complete your field experience and student teaching requirements. Kentucky provides up to a $5,000 stipend for student teachers!

STEP 6: Explore teacher vacancies in your area to find the perfect placement for you!
